Wren's Nest Baking Co: the BEST (get the raspberry coffee cake)

Curran Coffee: delicious and great for a walk by the water while you sip your coffee

Olympia: our favorite place to walk to from our house!

Delightful Little Market: the little market in our neighborhood, great coffee and snacks

Bluebeard: right next door to our favorite taproom - State Street

JinJin Matcha: the iced strawberry matcha is our favorite!

If you're hungry:

Breakfast: B's Bagels & Butters (worth the short trek to Gig Harbor; we like to drive down to the water to eat), Manny's (get the french toast), Copper & Salt (water views, enough said)

Lunch: Matador (the nachos and margs are the best), Rosewood Cafe (a new discovery, great soups/salads/sandwiches), MSM Deli (Tacoma classic for a great sub)

Happy Hour: Field Bar & Bottle (funky rotating menu - Molly's favorite!), West 122 (can't go wrong with the apps; get the 'Bartender's Choice' cocktail)

Dinner: Wooden City (crowd pleaser), En Rama (funky), Macaluso's (Italian)

- Explore 6th Street: our favorites are Hi-Voltage record shop, Grit City bookstore, Scorpio Rising vintage, Bluebeard for coffee, State Street for beer/snacks, Field Bar & Bottle for cocktails, Busy Body for funky drinks and so many more!

- Hit the Proctor Farmer's Market on Saturday morning and Explore Proctor: Olympia coffee, Lapis boutique, Peaks & Pints for a beer/sandwich, Compass Rose boutique, La Bella nail salon

- Explore Point Defiance: there are a ton of great walking trails, pickleball/tennis courts, and it's beautiful!

- Venture to Gig Harbor: Invitation Bookshop (Molly's favorite!), Frankie boutique, walk down by the harbor, Harbornest boutique, Heritage Distillery, 7 Seas taproom, B's Bagels & Butters
